Compatible with B-Series engines from 1988 to 2001 and D-Series engines from 1988 to 2000, excluding D16Z6.This thermostat housing is a direct replacement for the unit and installs in the factory location beside the intake manifold using two bolts.It features a threaded water outlet port sized for a standard 1.25-inch radiator hose fitting, with thread specification 16OR (1-5/16-12 SAE) and an seal for secure connection.The port also accepts 12AN or 16AN fittings.Two additional ports are included: one for the fan switch and one 1/8 NPT port for accessories such as temperature gauges; a plug is provided for the 1/8 NPT port if not used.An M6 threaded hole is included for the engine harness ground ring.The housing has two hole positions to accommodate fitment across the specified B-Series and D-Series applications.The radiator outlet follows the angle, slightly upward.Slight modification may be required for some transmissions.May not fit with some scatter shields.
