Vintage Photograph of Zion National Park with Renault Dauphine Car

Title: "Zion National Park" - This charming photograph is from a desert summer in the days before automatic transmissions and air conditioning! It was captured by my late father-in-law Professor Jean Cazemajou in 1958 on a color photographic slide, and restored expertly by me. Zion National Park was a western stop in a cross-country road trip by my future wife Agnès and her parents after a year working in the United States. They drove that little Renault Dauphine reliably the whole way. This picture is part of a book my wife Agnès and I are putting together with the working title "Midcentury Road Trip: Images from a French Family's American Adventure in the 1950s." She was a child during this trip. This photograph represents my passion for heritage photography. The original photo by Jean is on a color film slide which I rescued and expertly scanned and restored with painstaking faith to the original. The art print, produced by hand by me, follows my principles of tender loving care outlined below. The edges of the picture show a portion of the original paper frame for the vintage color film slide. This artwork is available as an unframed art print. See "Production Method" below for details.
